- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At PLI we are fully licensed and insured in Nassau and Suffolk County. We do not ask for large deposits upfront. We ask for a 1/3 up front for materials, 1/3 as the projects are completed and the customer approves the work that's been done. Last, 1/3 on completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction call to establish the scope of work, timeline, and budget. once established, we come out for an estimate. Once we are agreed on the scope, budget, and timeline we can set a start date where you'll have a designated project manager to help you with communication throughout the entire project. We understand how overwhelming a home remodeling project can be. Additionally, at PLI we offer construction management to help find a scope of work to match your desired budget and work with architects on your behalf to make sure they stay in line with a budget to minimize plan revisions and overall headaches.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Headformen have over 130 years of experience between them. The ones who establish the scope of the work for your estimate are the ones actually doing the work on your home.
