My grandfather had a sawmill, so from a from young age I grew up around a family of carpenters. I love to see the transformation of any room. Whether that be painting a room, or a whole house, to remodeling a bathroom to remodeling a basement. It gives me great satisfaction to know that I can help individuals make their home improvements. I recently hired Barton’s Home Improvement to hang several photos throughout my home and repair my front door, which was no longer opening from the outside. I had purchased a custom doorknob that ultimately didn’t fit, but they were able to repair the existing hardware with minimal effort and get everything working properly again. The team was fast, professional, and easy to work with. I was very happy with the results and look forward to using them again for future projects around my home.

I hired Brad Barton and his crew to repair an upstairs bedroom window wood panel that had separated from the original window. I was afraid that a ladder might be needed. Brad and his crew came and inspected the window damage. They decided that Gorilla glue might work as a temporary fix. I am very pleased with their prompt response, their professionalism, and their work skills. I would hire them again the next time I need something repaired or replaced. George VB

He was hired to put a vanity together. The vanity was put together correctly and looked good. However, I paid twice as much as anticipating. I hired him for $45/ hour as per his advertisement. He showed up with another man. One man did hardly any work. He mostly read the directions aloud. He then tells me (at the end of the project) that I have to pay both of them $45/ hour (aka $90/ hour). It took them 3+ hours to complete. It cost more to put together than the actually purchase of the vanity. Make sure you confirm the price and how many people will be working on your project!

Hello, we appreciate all feedback, both positive and constructive. Unfortunately, with thumbtack there is no way to show the per person part of the $45/hour. We sincerely apologize that it cost more than you were anticipating. Also, due to the complexity of the vanity build, it would’ve taken significantly longer (8+ hours likely) if one person had done it and cost more in the long run.
