My husband and I had the privilege to work with Howard for our wedding reception. Howard's creative menu combined my Indonesian background along with my husbands love for classic American cuisines in an "East meets West" Themed wedding. Everything from the passed appetizers which included wild mushroom goat cheese quesadillas To the Indonesian Beef Rendang, was cooked and presented to perfection. His passion for food and attention to detail is obvious from the initial conversation to the final execution of the cuisine. I recommend Howard's services to anyone and know my wedding wouldn't have been as memorable and successful if it wasn't for his incredible menu. It meant a lot to me to incorporate my Indinesian heritage into our dinner and Howard's knowledge and talent for southeast Asian cuisines helped make our reception unforgettable.

Howard has done many events in my home for the past 20 years, formal sit down dinners, buffet events, and cocktail parties. He has also dropped off prepared dishes for me for holiday events. He can accomodate lots of dietary issues and has really inventive menu ideas and the food is always delicious and beautifully served. He makes entertaining at home very easy and fun. A great resource for busy people.

Howard Chapman has cooked for us on multiple occasions, for both small and large groups. He is always prompt, courteous and helpful; and, most importantly, his food is always outstanding. Our only complaint is that he's so good that he's hard to book - he's often busy. For that reason, I may regret this review, but he is excellent!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
depending upon the event it can be a per person charge, or cost of food plus my hourly fee. Hourly fee is charged for shopping, an pre preparation necessary and time at the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After about a 10 minute phone conversation to ask some questions about the event, special requests, likes and dislikes. I send a menu proposal asking for feedback. usually after 1 more email, the menu is set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! As in any profession you have to keep up with what is going on.
