Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have the necessary background, credentials, skills, knowledge, experience, ability, competence and exposure training and providing services for dogs and/or people. On this profile page there is proof showing that. Furthermore, I feel my Dog Training experience with dogs and people would be a huge asset to any household. My involvement with dogs started in 1992 working at an Animal Hospital/Boarding facility for thirteen years as a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant. I learned to deal with dogs calmly and efficiently during exams, after treatment and in the cages. After my years at this Animal Hospital/Boarding Facility, I decided to put that experience to good use. As a result, I went to the Academy of Canine Education and learned several diverse approaches to Dog Training. During this time I logged in more than 100 hours working as a Dog Trainer's assistant where I assisted in many different ways. From observing, learning and helping, to instructing clients relating to their dog's progress and their owners in group like settings. I have a signed letter showing this in full detail. As well as other credentials. Similarly, I graduated this program in 2005 and to this day, I've been training dogs and their owners independently, thus instructing group training classes, conducting private training lessons consulting with clients and training hands-on with one or more dogs while having my own past Dog Day Care establishment. Additionally, I've accumulated more than 75 hours of experience in volunteering at a local animal shelter, consulting with another trainer about current cases and designing training plans. Furthermore, I've developed techniques to strengthen the dog and owner bond. I also have demonstration videos showing this and at the same time I often take a video of a client with his/her dog doing a routine training exercise. If they're not doing it correctly, I would not say anything but capture it and play it back. Thus, they would see what they did wrong and learn from it. In addition, they would see what they did right and remember it. At the same time I feel that the owner is the best Dog Trainer for their dog and I make that possible. I have numerous references. My main reference is Dr. Arthur Kronfeld who is a distinguished retired Cornell veterinarian. Lastly, I am fully vaccinated.

Alex worked to "train my husband and me" in the basics for our 90 pound bundle of muscle and energy. The dog is walking better and responding to commands much more. He even brought other dogs to meet ours and help him burn off some energy. Thanks Alex!

Dog Training

Upon arrival Alex immediately observed my dog’s behavior. Gave explanations of what he saw. And immediately started with leash training. Spent a great deal of time explaining the purpose of each exercise. Made himself available at anytime for questions and feedback. Very satisfied with our first meeting.

Details: 0 - 6 months old • Extra Small (1 - 15 lbs) • Private lessons • Puppy training • Barking • Chewing • Biting • Digging • My home, venue, etc.

Alex understands dogs and trains the owner as well as the dog. Alex is punctual, patient and "goes the extra mile". He even walks with the owner and pet on long walks. He is not in a rush and dogs feel his warmth. My dog is so well behaved and listens to my commands and praise because of Alex. I realize how smart animals are because of Alex.

Alex is a great trainer - listens to your concerns, works with your dog and gives you practical advice. I like that he uses videos while training and works to show owners the mistakes they are making in their training. My dog is a 60 lb rescue and he did a phenomenal job at training the large, reactive breed. Thank you!
