Melissa is not only the developer of the world's most delicious and luxurious body scrub, but she is also an extremely talented make-up artist. She did my make-up for my wedding as well as all the bridesmaids and was sure to keep with what "I" wanted - not how she saw me. She knew I was a 'natural girl' and that I did not want to look overly made-up. She did a tremendous job making me feel beautiful - enhancing my look instead of creating one. She listens to what people want - and therefore each client receives extremely personalized service.
In fact, her scrub line was born out of listening to what people wanted. After many years of creating scrubs from natural herbs from her garden with added dried orange rind and essential oils in the kitchen of her home, people began begging her to mass produce them. She asked people specifically what they loved about each one. In fact, she reached out to friends and created focus groups to ask their opinions about the different salt textures and scents... after visiting different salt factories, she chose the best texture - not the cheapest kind... I was very impressed that she stayed true to her mission to use the best organic ingredients. All of the scents, which now include citrus and spice, lavender and mint, and patchouli/pine make people stop me in the store and say, "WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?" I honestly hate telling them about the patchouli and pine because I somehow feel like it is my secret, magical scent. Alas, I must share the secret and the love because I believe in her and I believe that anyone who gets their hands on these scrubs will no longer want to live without them. What a treat! They really just leave my skin feeling so protected and delicious.
I now give them as gifts to all of my daughter's teachers and they can't stop thanking me. In fact, one of the teachers in the middle school stopped me to say, I hope I get Julia next year, so I can get some of that scrub everyone is talking about! So... I had to post this - because really when you find something that someone has worked so hard on and poured so much of themselves into, it's important to share that love. Well to start, Melissa knows her stuff! She is an amazing talent with incredible skills. I have had manis, pedi's, makeup applications and her body scrub is the best! She has shown me some pretty terrific techniques to help me with my own makeup effects which have been invaluable. She is also so wonderful to be around as she has a fantastic personality and great sense of humor. Melissa works well one on one or in groups. Love her!!!

Melissa is a fabulous make-up artist. She really pays attention to your skin tone, and hair and eye color when choosing make-up. I have had her do full make up on me, as well as provide a visual with step-by-step instructions on how to repeat what she did by myself. Truly valuable lesson for me. I highly recommend her services.

As someone who is constantly on television, I am so glad to have met Melissa and had the opportunity to work with her. Not only does she do a fabulous job when she does my make up but she also taught me to apply my make-up myself.
