FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't use "package" prices because I think it's pretty unrealistic. Every couple, family, model, whatever I'm shooting, is different. If I am drawn to a client and they really like my work, we'll sit down together and work out a price that's fair for everyone. We all get taken care of that way. I do have "minimum" charges (of course I can't shoot a wedding for $100), but I find that my prices are at the industry low, and very well-received.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a camera in my hand, but taking photos never felt enough like "work" for me to consider it a career path. I was under the unfortunate impression that "work" wasn't fun... until I decided to work at becoming a photographer. Now I am having the time of my life!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers have been equal parts couples (engagements, weddings), families, and historic buildings. Throw in some aerial photography and landscapes, and you have my portfolio! It's kind of all over the place, but I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way. What can I say, I'm passionate about a lot of things!
