Bob Stump Band

Introduction: We perform Country, Bluegrass & roots music with acoustic & electric guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and upright bass. We are available as a duo, trio and as other ensembles. The band travels from NY to Boston to Philly and performs for community concerts, corporate & private events . A unique choice for weddings, family gatherings and other special events. We play music made in the USA along with our own songs. The band showcases the music of Country Music legends Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams , Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs and other more contemporary artist's. Musicians in my ensembles are in demand "A" list players. With performance credits at Carnegie Hall , The Ryman Auditorium, Yankee Stadium and a host of other important music venues. In our home base of Dutchess County NY the band performs on the same stages and venues as the legends do . Including the Town Crier, The Falcon and the Rosendale Caf'e . The band recently performed with one of it's heroe's John McKuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band . John produced Will The Circle Be Unbroken . The Smithsonian Institute called it one of the most important recordings of all time. I understand that each event is unique and music is sometimes featured and sometimes atmosphere.
