Introduction: Portfolio: sghinteriors dot com SGH Designs is a partnership between Steve and Gail Huberman, with design experience ranging from single rooms to full-home renovations. Their years of experience allow for a unique relationship between their clients and themselves, helping focus ideas and concepts into a cooperative plan. While their projects have styles that range from classical to contemporary, modern to transitional, the common thread between all of them is taking the vision of the clients and turning it into a sophisticated and approachable reality. There is something about helping our clients take their ideas and their "must-haves" and distilling them into a cohesive plan, then taking that plan and working with our tradesmen to make it a reality. Being able to see the end result and knowing that the client's needs and vision has been realized makes this a very special field, especially since these homes are not just for someone to show off, but also live in! Knowing that we've helped someone create their dream home allows us to continue innovating and thinking about more solutions to modern living.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our backgrounds were always in the art fields. i was a fine art student always interested in the decorative arts as well as stage and theater design and furniture design. Gails background was in fine arts always interested in sculpture ,paintings etc. We met on a project over 35 years ago and have worked together eve since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From gut renovations to additions to complete furnishings including all artwork & accessories. We can work in phases doing one room at a time to entire project including design of bathrooms and kitchens and working with either our own labor sources or clients.Our ultimate goal is our clients satisfaction with the completed project.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A Contemporary New York City apartment for a husband and wife, a second project for them.
