After waiting a couple of months for a response from a friend's recommended floor refinisher, I looked further and found Weller Hardwoods. Based on positive online reviews, I called and got a fast response and pretty quick start date for the job. We are very pleased with the end product. James replaced a couple of damaged boards, removed and put back appliances, and the entire process was done in a professional, pleasant manner. James was a pleasure to work with in getting our original pine kitchen floor looking like new!

James is highly skilled craftsman who works pretty much on his own. After we agreed to a hardwood floor installation schedule, the work moved along just as planned. Any small set backs were handled without a problem. We would gladly hire him again.

Weller Hardwoods did a fantastic job on our kitchen floors which were long over due for refinishing. James was here when he said he would be and did a great job. The floors look so beautiful. We plan to have James do the rest of the house sometime soon. So happy we found his company on Thumbtack.

We recently purchased our first home, which is an 1870 farmhouse with an addition. The upstairs of the farmhouse has two rooms, which had wall to wall carpeting and underneath some very old pine floors. I was determined to bring them back to their glory but unsure what to do, as there was LAYERS of paint on them and they are very old. James was exceptionally responsive, came to give a quote within a day or two, and emailed me the quote by that night. He is extremely professional and timely. I cannot say enough about the work he and his father put in to restore these floors and bring our old home back to life. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. It is just INCREDIBLE how they restored these floors, and increased the value of our home. Not to mention they cleaned everyday Before they left and on the last day there was not a drop of dust left. Extremely professional, respectful and hardworking. I cannot recommend Weller enough. If you have hardwoods you want refinished and don’t know where to start, call them for a quote you will not be disappointed!
