- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly fee of $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule an initial "vision-casting" meeting - phone, video chat, or in person - so we can get to know each other and I can get a sense of their heart for the project and their work/communication style. This will guide me in assisting them to achieve their goals and tell their story in a way that is most suited to their individual needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music/Theatre with Honors in Independent Study in English. I studied English for a term at Oxford University and wrote my first full novel as my Honors Thesis for college while directing a full-length play I had written the summer before. I then earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting while continuing to write novels, plays, and poetry. I published two books with a small press before reclaiming the rights and self-publishing under my own label. I have also helped guide several satisfied clients through writing and self-publishing their own works. My theatre experience has contributed profoundly to my work as a writer and editor, enabling me to identify more fully with characters in my own story and with the needs of other people as they try to tell their story.
