Introduction: The Mad Hand Arts, Graphics & Design, LLC is located in the heart of Queens, NYC. It is run bow to stern by our award-winning art director, Jane Denny, with occasional office help. All design and artwork is conceived and executed by the art director personally with input from clients. We have designed for the yearly Gimme Shelter Rock & Rescue NYC concert, Joe Hurley's All Star Irish Rock Revue featuring some of the biggest names in music, and the Harlem Rockets and Harlem Magic Masters comedy basketball teams to name a few of our highest profile clients. However, we design for clients all over the world from Australia to Japan and USA, and for almost every kind of market from corporate to children's book design, magazine design, logo and trademark... Just about everything. Our Art Director is often told she has an uncanny almost clairvoyant ability to visualize what a project wants, even when the client is not sure themselves. We are a strongly animal-friendly company, donating many hours of design time yearly to humane awareness campaigns, such as for Rational Animal, the Coalition for NYC Animals, New York City Feral Cat Initiative, and Humane Society of New York. An excellent illustrator of animals and wildlife, our Art Director is the author/illustrator of Emmaline (the little black squirrel who lives in Queens), and The Twelve Cats Of Christmas (a cat lovers' spoof of the famous holiday song). She illustrated the Power Kid series of child empowerment books by Obi Nwokolo and The Cats on My Block by Valerie Sicignano. All titles are available on Amazon.com. We offer a 50% discount to animal welfare and environmental campaigns. Our design fees are $50/hour or a flat rate based on your project description. We require a 50% deposit on the estimate, and the balance paid upon approval of the finals, before delivery. We love and value our clients and go out of our way to give every project the attention it deserves.
