I am committed to teaching all of my clients how to style their best lives - whether it’s shopping your closet or showing you how to shop with confidence - I want you to feel fabulous every day. You will fall in love with your closet and get stressed out about what to wear again! You can learn how to accessorize, layer pieces, dress for your body, and play with color. You can get dressed in 5 minutes and spend your time doing what you love. You will have the confidence you need to take on the world (or school drop off!) because you’ll have the closet you’ve always dreamed of. As your style consultant, I’ll teach you which colors and styles flatter you. Then, with an editorial eye, I’ll navigate your closet, pull your best pieces, source new favorites, and create a classic or fashion-forward wardrobe that you’ll love wearing every day. Melanie changed my life!!! I had no sense of style and zero interest in shopping or fashion, I thought I was hopeless(!!), but I decided enough was enough dressing like a slob every day. Melanie helped me build a whole new wardrobe and showed me the most flattering clothing types, colors and patterns for my body and skin tone. She is one of the kindest people who is truly great at what she does. She's patient and challenged me to step outside my comfort zone without ever being pushy. She really understood me, my age, the time in my life I was going through and what I was trying to achieve; She never pushed a style on me that wasn't me or that I wasn't comfortable with. I’ve never worked with a I style consultant before and I’m sorry that I didn’t Melanie was so gracious and talented -in fact the first dress I tried on was the one for a very large event this weekend oh I forgot to tell you I waited to the last minute to do this Now I truly feel absolutely confident and will be the belle of the ball in my new dress I would have never picked out this dress myself or the five others that I ended up buying for various occasions over the next year Worth every penny!

Personal Style isn't a "one size fits all" approach and my services are unique to each client during our consultation you'll receive a custom quoted based on your specific needs. Pricing is flat rate, so there are no additional hours owed or fees due at project completion. About half of my clients are located throughout the country and work virtually to get them out of their style rut and help them feel confident with their image. Through technology, we use my proven system that results in knowing how to dress for your body type, personal coloring, life style, and professional goals (since how you dress is such an important part of non-verbal communication.). In the end you will have go to preplanned outfits that make you feel confident in each of her life situations. In persons and virtual services include.... REDISCOVERING YOU Together we will review image goals, define your personal style along with Color & fit analysis. You will leave this session knowing which colors look best on you along with your fabric color palette, tips on how to dress for your body type, and how ensure your clothing is sending out the right message. SHOP YOUR CLOSET No more overwhelm when you open the closet door. My Shop Your Closet service is designed to maximize the wardrobe you already own. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a complimentary 30 minute phone call where we can figure out if we are a good fit for each other since this is such a personal process. Before our first appointment, I will ask you to do a little homework to understand your lifestyle and goals. I have you fill out a questionnaire and create pinterest boards. This way when we meet (in person or virtually) to efficiently use our time together and achieve your desired results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. In addition, I hold a Color Certification from the Image Resource Center of New York and am a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI).
