We found comfort design through thumbtack! At beginning , there are several quotes pop up, but only comfort design made an appointment immediately to check our condo on the same day when we we start to contact. We like his efficiency!!
The person from comfort design is called Eddie, very friendly and responsible guy! He did intensive project for our condo which is the way we like. We once had bad experience: people just show up for few days and then disappear or they cease the project. Eddie is a person to trust through several days observation!
The project quality is very good, he surprised us everyday. From the painting color he suggest to some materials he choose ... He did painting, fixing cracks , changing new cabinet ... he did more than we expected about many details! Sometimes he gave us suggestions to make our condo looks better, we really appreciate it!!
We like Eddie’s work, in future hopefully we will have our own house soon and we definitely would love to invite Eddie do the project again! The pictures below are the bathroom projects Eddie did ( wall painting, choosing light, medicine cabinet and bathroom cabinet for us ) ; another picture is our celebration dinner & birthday celebration dinner for Eddie!

Edi was very friendly and communicated well. Though I went over my budget, the overall quality was impressive. Be sure to have him review work that his subcontractors execute. They were not super detail oriented, but edi was very responsive and took care of lingering details himself which I appreciated. Overall a great job!

I had a broken tile and some cracking grout in my bathroom. Eddie showed up today and did all the work required to fix my issue in a matter of a few hours. My tile was replaced, had my wall re-grouted and even had some spaced between the tile and bathtub sealed with some silicone. Eddie kept me informed of what was going on throughout the entire process and kept the entire area he was working on clean throughout the repair and after he was done. He left me with a sponge and gloves to clean up any marks left from the dried grout in the next few days but it seems like things should be good to go from here on out with my bathroom!
I would 100% go with Eddie and Comfort Designs NYC for any future jobs and repairs around my house.

It is often challenging getting qualified people to service small jobs. We have a restaurant that is in frequent need of repairs. Edin responded immediately to our on line request, followed through, completed job as scheduled, and was a terrific value. We will use his services again.
