- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to make things as affordable as possible for you. I start from a base price of $200, and add a small fee to offset travel expenses depending on the location of the ceremony.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start each project with a phone conversation with you to hear a little about you and your story, your visions for the ceremony, and anything important to you, as well as answer any logistical questions about the process of signing the marriage license and the nature of the ceremony. During our call, I will ask questions and provide options for you to help script a ceremony custom for you. It is my goal to create a ceremony that totally reflects you. After our call, I will script a custom ceremony for you and your parter. Once it's complete, I send you the draft and welcome any feedback. Together, we will go over the ceremony and incorporate any changes you would like to make.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered wedding officiant with New York State. I am also a theater director and producer and the artistry and sensitivity from my theater work to this work.
