Introduction: Introduction: I teach piano lessons in Midlothian Virginia in the Brandermill subdivision., I offer a piano lesson experience with special attention to each student's individual needs and goals. I teach classical, new age and pop.
Also improvisation and theory.
My education, The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. I have been
on international tours as an accompanist and teaching experience both
in universities and private. I am also involved in theatre, ballet, concerts,
and judging, which gives depth to my coaching.
I use technology to work on both the audio and visual aspects of performance. Lessons are structured to include both technique and repertoire.
With the musical moments and the joy which progress brings. Seeing
my students playing in concerts, Master Class and Recitals and the pride
of their family and friends is a very rewarding experience for all.
Students learn that hard work and dedication pay off in the end.
Piano & Vocal Coaching
Rhonda Fischer teaches piano and is a composer, coaches singers and accompanies ballets and theater. Her awards include magna cum laude from Eastman School of Music, U of R in Rochester and studied Piano Performance. She also studied privately with distinguished Eastman and Juilliard professors and specializes in classical music. She was active
playing for the Pennsylvania Ballet, Weddings, Concerts in
Amsterdam, Austria, Eastman School of Music, Albany, Philadelphia,
Kansas, Albuquerque, Texas and NYC.
Her specialty is working with children and teens who are beginning to advanced piano. Although adults love studying the piano more for enjoyment. She also worked on “American Idol" in Los Angles and
auditioned singers for the show with judge Simon Cowell.
She won top pianist in 1979 in New York with over 200 contestants.
Ms. Fischer has been teaching piano for over 40 years. She also has 5 star reviews and is a certified teacher.
Rhonda Fischer also specializes in audition preparation. High school seniors she has worked with have been accepted into their first choice schools, including Princeton, Eastman School of Music and Juilliard. She is a special arrangement coach who prepares students for music scholarships throughout the US. Playing concert abroad and at most music conservatories Ms. Fischer takes her teaching to the next level and keeps her students interested in the learning process. Rhonda has taught at California Music Studios, Academy of Children’s Music, Eastman School
of Music, Pittsburgh University, Piano and Organ Center, and now
Fischer Piano Instruction.
Rhonda's most memorable moment was playing a piano concert with
Mickey Rooney in California.
