Joel came to my house very quickly when I had a plumbing leak in my laundry room. He had to rip up damaged floor, walls, baseboards, etc. and replace it all. His pricing was fair, he was present on the job site when he said he would be, and I was satisfied with the outcome of his work. I would recommend Joel for your home improvement projects.

Joel goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done correctly and doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need, like a lot of contractors do. His craftsmanship is TOP NOTCH!
I do a lot of my own DIY projects and typically do a bunch of homework before deciding if I want to take something on or just have someone else do it. He provided tons of insight and a few different routes I could go for the flooring job I was looking to have completed. He even gave feedback on what is typically a better move for resale value but was never pushy to get me to buy a certain thing. He was looking to make sure that I was happy with my choice. He always had answers and more importantly the "WHY" to back up when something SHOULD be done. That is crucial for me especially after someone digs into a job and finds issues like rot, etc that often comes with home renovations. Knowing that he was paying attention to ALL of the details set my mind at ease so I don't have to worry about shoddy work being done and ending up needing to hire ANOTHER contractor to come in and fix it in a few months (I'm sure so many of us have been there).
He's a no fluff kind of guy, very patient, kind and filled in the gaps on anything I wasn't sure of in my own research, so I knew I was getting great value for the work being done.
I'd hire him again in a heartbeat and likely will to come in and do our upstairs bathroom upgrade next!
