I am a licensed cosmetologist since 2009. I have been a professional makeup artist & hair stylist since 2010. I don’t have many reviews on here, because most of my clients have not been booked from this site, but as you can see from my portfolio I have glammed up many faces & posted only “some” of my hundreds of previous clients. I have been doing makeup & light hairstyling for 15 years in the industry, serving the Long Island & NYC area, which includes having worked for MAC Cosmetics, Clinique, hair salons, photo shoots & word of mouth! I listen to what my clients want & try to make my prices fair, while providing outstanding & beautiful makeup & hair services. I take pride in making sure every client leaves my chair feeling confident & beautiful than ever. Milysa was amazing! I looked and felt so good for my event, if I am ever in the area again she will be the first one I call. She did such a good job that I didn’t want to take my makeup off it looked so good!

Milysa did such an amazing job and is an amazing makeup artist. I found her wanting to find a makeup artist days before the event I was going to was to take place. She was very accommodating and was able to come to my home and set up. I had sent her ideas of how I wanted my makeup to be and she asked all the right questions to make sure that she came prepared to accommodate my skin type and preferences. She really made my vision come to life. The makeup held on all night and I was complimented throughout the whole night by so many ppl. I am definitely pleased with her services. She has a lot of experience under her belt and it showed! My makeup wasn’t cakey at all and the colors she used really complimented the dress and accessories I was wearing. She was very responsive throughout the entire time and even followed up with me afterwards to see how I was doing and how the makeup held up. She was super sweet and even gave me a little makeup bag with little goodies in it and referral cards. Her price was also unbeatable and fair. I will definitely be using her again for any future events.

Excellent make up artist. Her pre-session preparation was on point paying attention to detail and gathering as much information as possible. Minx ensured that my makeup complimented my outfit paired with great suggestions/advice! I received a lot of compliments on my makeup and it stayed intact for the entire event.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually have a base price then I add the fees of special effects, tattoo covering, travel expenses, etc from there. My prices are pretty fair, especially for Long Island & the rest of New York itself. All makeup services include lashes & complimentary touch-up kit ! (Valued at $45)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I'll consult with the potential/new clients & go over their makeup wants & needs thru message/email. It is especially helpful to send me photos of makeup you like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes absolutely! Fashion & trend are always improving & changing.
