I hired this pro to do an easy job installing two wooden panel fence that I purchased. I asked for the fence to be installed in a specified way, and explained these details to the project manager. I also asked the project manager what day and time the job will be done, and told him to call me before he starts (since I was traveling) to ensure direction is clear. Fast forward to the day, the worker decided to get to the job early, and installed the fence without the project managers knowledge. As a result, it was installed not only wrong based upon what I instructed the project manager, but was installed 7ft above ground, which is illegal in Queens. When I saw this I immediately contacted the pro. He was unaware the worker was on-site. And he stated he needed to get in touch with the project manager. To make a long story short, the pro stated the worker went rogue and did this without anyones knowledge, but figured, in order to correct the work, he would need to charge me TRIPPLE the original price! Instead of the pro taking accountability for mismanging the job, he asked me to pay more money. I had to pay another pro to remove the fence as it was illegal in height. My suggestion to the pro, accountability, responsibility, integrity, and your word are critical in business.

Very sad I trusted the man give my half of the money before the job was done and every week he has a different excuse regarding the work we redid the contract. He increased the price when he could’ve just say no I can’t do it.
