Marc did an absolutely amazing job officiating our vow renewal. Marc is easy to work with, friendly and professional. He gets all the details right. Marc wrote our ceremony and provided a wonderful questionnaire to guide us and ascertain our preferences. My husband and I were blown away at the care and detail of the ceremony Marc wrote for us. Marc saved our wedding day! Our officiant was unable to attend last minute. I found Marc on Thumbtack and reached out. Not only was he available but he responded right away and once we agreed to proceed he started working on our ceremony readings immediately. He went back and forth with me until I felt the ceremony speech was perfect. He arrived on time, was so pleasant, and did a beautiful job. We felt like we had always known him. We had a great experience with Marc officiating our wedding. We wanted a short and sweet ceremony without any readings or religious tones, and with a bit of humor to make it both special for us and enjoyable for guests. We worked with him to create the perfect ceremony script that fit our vision and personalities. Marc did a great job and many guests came up to us afterwards to tell us it was the best most enjoyable ceremony they've experienced at a wedding. He was a pleasure to deal with and punctual as well. Marc did a wonderful job as our weddingofficiant. He put together some very meaningful vows for us. We had a beautiful ceremony. We cannot recommend him enough. His fee was reasonable and the work he did for was second to none. He also got us out of a jam. We were running out of time to find an officiant. Fortunately, we were able to book Marc just in the nick of time. We're very glad we did!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You may find this hard to believe, especially in this age of excess and greed, but "making money" is not the most important thing to me. I actually enjoy doing this, and it gives me genuine pleasure to work with couples planning for their big day. Since I customize ceremonies based on the wants/needs of each [mutually exclusive] couple, I am open to working with you on the bottom line price. I will take into consideration distance, length of ceremony, "offline" level of work, military consideration(s), wedding rehearsal(s), etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial introductions, we will arrange a mutually beneficial time to meet up for an hour or so. During this time we will discuss the type of ceremony you would like to have, the wedding vows, ring vows, readings, and any other pertinent related subject that may come up. Sometimes a 2nd meeting is needed, but usually once the initial meeting is complete, we can proceed henceforth via email, text, phone, etc. UPDATE: EVERYTHING CAN NOW EASILY BE DONE VIA EMAIL, PHONE, ETC.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied theatre, film, acting, voice, directing, creative writing, peer counseling and communications both formally and by experience. I am also a poet/lyricist/screenplay writer and the recipient of numerous awards in the aforementioned fields.
