I have been doing electrical repairs and installations in the Hudson Valley for the last 29 years. Here is an example of some of the work I've done over the years. * Rewiring 3-way and 4-way switches so they turn on correctly at each location. *Replace old worn-out outlets, switches, and lighting. *Electrical outlets for washers, dryers, dishwashers, and electric stoves. *Adding additional outlets to rooms and work area's in your home. *Install or replace old bathroom/kitchen exhaust fans. *Replace worn-out breakers and install GFCI breakers in the electrical panel box. *Install recessed lighting, pendant lighting, chandeliers, under-counter lighting, led strips, ceiling fans, dishwashers, electric stoves, microwaves, and outdoor motion lights. *Install or replace GFCI outlets and USB Outles. *Install Co2 and Smoke detectors. *Install home networking, switches, network extenders and run new Cat6 cable for internet/Wifi. *Patch and paint locations where work is done. Chris does great work installing light fixtures, replacing old drywall and constructing a window frame with a beautiful sill for our plants. His help with updating our kitchen is much appreciated! Chris works with our schedule and notifies us when he is not available. He meticulously clears work areas before leaving. Our projects are ongoing but we definitely would refer.

Chris came to our new house to install some light fixtures, test some mysterious switches and see what is connected and where. He helped us make the switches work in a way that made more sense to us and eliminated some things that weren’t powering anything we could find. It simplified everything so much so that we’re not flipping every switch in the house to have nothing happen. He installed our new light fixtures and a transformer for our boiler and everything looks great. He did a great job with what we needed done at a very fair rate. My wife and I like him a lot as a person, and it’s been a pleasure to chat with him and have him working around our home. Hire him to take care of your electrical needs and more! I needed an electrician to come in and make sure the wiring was safe after my dishwasher drain flooded the kitchen. Luckily I found Chris on Thumbtack and I got him over to help me with everything when the kitchen was torn apart and dried up. Not only did Chris redo a lot of the old electric, he even helped me with the led cabinet lighting and floor lighting. I'm so glad he helped me with the scene controllers and programming them. Chris was a lifesaver and I'll definitely be hiring him again soon.

I try to keep my prices reasonable for smaller and larger jobs. Most of the time I do an hourly rate and work fast and efficiently. I have never had a customer feel cheated with any of the work I've done or my prices. I have worked in the Hudson Valley for almost 29 years so you'll get quality work at a reasonable price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you contact me about the job I will contact you back about the work that needs to be done and the time and date it needs to be done by. When I show up I can assess what needs to be done and make a material list (if needed) and get the work done fast and efficiently.
