We highly recommend hiring Karol and we will definitely be going to him again in the future.
He remodeled a bathroom for us. The original bathroom had a wall of cabinets and an old shower. Karol removed the cabinets and shower and installed a clawfoot tub and faucet and a washer/dryer. He also leveled and tiled the floor, put up a new wall, and added tongue-and-groove wood wall around the tub as an accent. He replaced the door and toilet and probably much more I’m forgetting.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Everything in the bathroom was installed with attention to detail so that every inch looks perfect. Even under the floor-mounted tub faucet, Karol placed little tiles so the floor looked seamless. He didn’t cut any corners.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Several times along the way, Karol encountered challenges - missing pieces I forgot to order, tight spaces to navigate, weird plumbing, etc. He figured out each challenge and did so on a tight schedule.
CREATIVE JUDGEMENT
We appreciate Karol most for his great creative judgment. We would offer an idea - some kind of wood between the tub and washer/dryer - and Karol would come up with something that was better and more affordable. He proposed stained wood molding to contrast with the white floor and walls - lovely.
GOOD ADVICE
We originally asked Karol in to look at putting a washer/dryer in a closet space we had. He explained how he could make it work but explained how it would be too expensive to make it work that way. He proposed a different plan that was much better and way more cost effective. All throughout the process, Karol’s advice balanced the best result with the most cost-effective process. We totally trusted his advice and the result is perfect.
NICE GUY
Karol’s just a nice guy! He was here a lot when we weren’t and we trusted him in our home. We have a little kid who now talks about Karol all the time. Every interaction we had with Karol was lovely.
We couldn’t feel luckier to have worked with Karol and we strongly recommend hiring him for any interior project in your home.
