I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 14 years. I started Little Plates which was a very successful healthy food program for kids in daycares and private schools. I traveled the country catering micro events for the last couple years, and started a luxury picnic business on the Oregon coast & Washington state. The Hudson Valley & the Tri-state area has always been my home and the uniqueness of it keeps me coming back!

Lydia was absolutely incredible. Our family had a last minute backyard wedding ceremony due to a recent family situation. She went above and beyond to reach out to my request, work with us on dietary needs, and did it all in less than a week. She went above and beyond for us to make sure that it was an incredible day for the bride and groom, and the entire family. We have all said how perfect the day was, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Lydia and Nathan. Thank you for being an extension of our family and putting love into the food, cake, service, and more.

I had the absolute pleasure of hiring Lydia as our private chef for a special getaway with my sweetheart, and from start to finish, the experience was beyond exceptional.
What truly stood out right from the start was how passionate Lydia is about what she does. You can tell she loves her craft and deeply cares about her clients and the experience they have - it shows, and it’s something you really feel.
Lydia worked closely with me to curate the perfect menu, was open to every suggestion and ensured every detail was tailored to our tastes. Her communication was always timely, warm, and thoughtful, making me feel like I’d known her by the time I met her in person.
When our evening arrived, Lydia and Nathan brought a level of professionalism and warmth that made the evening even more magical. The food was not only delicious but also presented beautifully - truly five-star quality. Their service was impeccable, with Lydia and Nathan seamlessly serving each of our four courses, allowing us to sit back and fully enjoy the experience.
They took care of everything, from the food prep to cleaning up afterward and even packing up the leftovers. It felt like we were dining at a top-tier restaurant, all within the cozy setting of our beautiful Airbnb, all without having to lift a finger.
Lydia made our evening unforgettable, and we’re already dreaming up more occasions in the future so we can work with her again. Her talent and warmth are unmatched. Highly recommended!

Chef Lydia and her team where absolutely amazing and I can't express how impressed I was with their service. From the very first consultation, I was excited to work with their team. Lydia was exceptional and took time to understand what we were looking for and helped to work around our budget.
On the day of the event, their team was punctual, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, even adjusting to last-minute changes without a hitch. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Guests are still raving about the pesto chicken pasta.

OH MY GOODNESS. I don’t even know where to start. We hired Lydia for our wedding cocktail hour and she blew it out of the park. The spread was the most beautiful food arrangement I’ve EVER seen - she is truly an artist. The love and care she gave us from our very first meeting (that her and her husband travelled for) was exceptional. Being in the food industry ourselves, we were looking for something special and someone to work WITH us and she exceeded our expectations 100 fold. I cannot thank her and her team enough. Our guests raved about it all night and called it a “first class experience”. I will be shouting Lydia’s name from the rooftops and plan to use her again in the future. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!
