Introduction: Hope Farm Press (sole proprietor Richard Frisbie) has 31 books in print. Some are just exact reprints of the originals and some are original works I edited, designed and published. (See the cover images above.)
I find book selling, and the book publishing I do to be very satisfying and fulfilling. I'm promoting history and bringing titles to the public that would not have appeared without my interest and expertise. My most significant project in terms of scope, was to take local sports reporter Charles Tiano's annotated type written pages and turn them into the book "More Balls Than Strikes - 100 Years of Baseball in New York's Hudson Valley". I found the photos, created the box scores and compiled the index, then edited the whole thing and laid it out.
