Robyn is a great professional, she made it very easy for us. The ceremony was amazing, exactly how we envisioned it! She was very warm and patient with us. She followed social distance requirements. Communication was smooth and she replied quickly. We are glad we chose her for our Sept 2020 wedding! We highly recommend her! She is a great wedding officiant! - <3 Digna & Gavin

We contacted Robyn just about a month before our wedding ceremony. From the beginning she was a pleasure to work with! About a week before our ceremony we spoke over the phone to go over some of the details for the ceremony. She really took the time to try to get to know us as a couple but also to learn about what we wanted our ceremony to be like. I really liked that especially because it was kind of a last minute thing!

My summer 2020 wedding had to be postponed for obvious reasons. We were very wary about doing on online wedding mostly because the process was so new. But Robyn was SO patient! She walked us through the steps we needed to take before we even booked her! And she was so helpful and responsive our entire time working with her. Our little Zoom ceremony was more perfect than anything I could’ve imagined. Oh and the marriage certificate?? It is absolutely beautiful!! She is definitely the one to go with for your Zoom wedding! Thank you!!

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Robyn. She really made our wedding ceremony unforgettable. She has such an amazing presence, throws in a bit of humor, and really took the reins of which direction the ceremony was taking. 5/5!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After a phone consultation to see if I’ll be the right fit for your ceremony, we will move forward with a questionnaire that helps me get to know you two as a couple. A bit closer to your date, depending on your ceremony size, we will have a workshop where we get into detail about the ceremony to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day of. All my couples also receive a keepsake marriage certificate to frame and have in their home to commemorate the day!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My elopement was an amazing experience and my best friend and her fiancé were inspired by it and decided to have a minimony. She asked me to officiate & help plan her wedding and I fell in love with the entire process. Since then I’ve been bringing big wedding energy to elopements and small ceremonies all across NYC and the Tri-State Area.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The View at Battery Park: This was a small ceremony of about 40 people. We had a waterfront view and the Statue of Liberty in the backdrop! The couple performed a sand ceremony with their children to symbolize their families coming together! They invited me to the reception after and we had so much fun dancing and talking.
