- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying and performing music since I was a child. I am a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music where I studied with drummers Terri Lynne Carrington, Neal Smith, Mike Mangini, Kenwood Dennard, Kim Plainfield and more.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach my students how to play various styles of music including Jazz, Funk, Rock, Latin and more. I make sure that my students gain knowledge of the technical aspect of drumming, but also how it's connected to the rest of the band. I've helped students gain confidence at the drums so they alway feel comfortable jumping into a band and playing with other musicians. I've also helped students prepare for NYSSMA and College auditions.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Through my studies I have gained working knowledge in music theory, jazz history, composition and more. I can give insight to drummers that will give them an edge over others, so they understand everything going on in a band and can react accordingly.
