This is a small part-time family operation. I didn't know that when I hired them, but it showed when the family came to pick up the furniture (see Pick up, below). The leather work: (rating 4.5 out of 5). Mostly fine, but some exposed stuffing at the back of the bed was not professional. I supplied the leather, and it looks good. The wood refinishing: poor (rating: 1 out 5). Clearly only one coat of stain was put on - the finish is very rough anywhere you wouldn't see it, but would feel it - For example, where your fingers grab/rub on the underside of the arm rests while seated. There is even exposed wood (for example on the underside of the top of the rear of the seats) . Basically, it seems that anywhere that they thought wouldn't be visible, they did not properly finish the work. The wood repair - rating: 4 out 5. Mostly good here. They repaired a chipped armrest. The repair was good, but where they tightened up a loose armrest, it is already loose again. Probably should have used loctite on the bolt. Pick up of furniture - rating: 1 out 5. They were also unprepared to properly pick up the furniture - didn't have the right tools, didn't wrap the furniture to protect it or the walls. They damaged walls removing the furniture, said they would repair that damage, but did not - I didn't hold them to that, but they certainly didn't bring it up. I am most disappointed about the staining of the wood work. I let it be, but they really should come back and fix the staining. I would have given a much better review if not for that. This job was reupholstering a bed headboard and six leather chairs and the refinishing the wood on the chairs.
