FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly going to conferences, taking online classes, and going to teachings where we can better ourselves. Last year we won Marketer of the year (a $2000 prize) at one of the conferences we went to. We shared how we need to make our customers feel like they are the most important thing to us. We also shared how we need to stand out from our competition. Both of those things are what we try to put into practice every day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My wife and I both had great jobs, and were making very good money. She was managing a children's shoe store and I was working in a pharmacy. I knew that I wanted to do magic full time. Kathleen was a little more hesitant. she liked the security of our insurance, and benefits. When I finally convinced her that this is what we should be doing our business took off. Her parents had decided we could live with them for 6 months to get it going, Her job transferred her up to Fredonia NY, and I started Mr. J. After 3 months I was so busy she had to quit her job to come help me. That was 24 years ago. I have loved every moment of performing all over WNY making people happy.
