Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. birthday parties are probably the most common. These days i find that more and more of them are taking place outside the homes though and I've been performing more in halls & party rooms.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions about what they do and how they plan to entertain your guests.
Ask them for pictures and then ask when the pictures were taken.
Ask about their outfit and what they will be wearing to your event.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How they do those wonderful magic tricks.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What kind of show do you offer? How long is each part of your show. What age are you most comfortable working with? Will you need parking? How much room do you need to perform? Does your magic show have any live animals guests may be allergic to? Will there be fire in your show? Do i have to provide electric outlets for your show? Do you have insurance?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like seeing how different people party and have fun. I really enjoy meeting and joking with different people all the time, and I love making kids smile. It's just very enjoyable to play and have fun like a kid again.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I didn't. It just happened, i learned Balloons for fun, I learned Magic for fun, and when I was offered work from a big agency in NYC i thought "wow, they wana pay me to have fun." So naturally I started working for them.
