This pro works a bit differently - both in good ways and somewhat non-conventional ways. I would highly recommend Urgent Appliance Repair. Aleksendr was highly competent, and he understood my problem immediately, without insisting on an in-person, on-site diagnosis. I had recently purchased a new, "lemon" Whirlpool clothes washer from Lowe's, and now it was totally out of commission. Whirlpool never issued a recall or service bulletin to consumers. They did not notify me that my model number had a defective pressure switch that was integrated into the control panel. Apparently, Whirlpool has admitted it was their fault, and even agreed to replace the part for free. But the part was on indefinite back order, so good luck with that!
Aleksendr was familiar with the problem and he told me that I'd have to pay for the part in advance as a deposit on the job. Fair enough, I guess. But my family has been victimized in the past by other contractors who take customers' deposits and then disappear. Nonetheless, Aleksendr showed up right on time and replaced the entire control panel, and re-calibrated the machine. He even showed me the bad unit, and said he felt sorry that the pressure switch could have been replaced separately (and cheaply) on other washers. The washer has been working fine since then, about a week ago.

Aleksandr did an excellent job repairing my Speed Queen dryer, restoring it to like new condition in appearance and function. He was very knowledgeable regarding the repair and was a pleasure to work with. His pricing is very fair and the quality of his work is outstanding. He was also punctual and very professional, offering very fair pricing for his work. When I need a future appliance repair, I will definitely be calling Aleksandr. Highly recommended.

I contacted Aleksandr late Sunday night about a dryer making a loud noise and within minutes he called me back and assured me he can help me the very next morning. He showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem then ordered the parts and returned the next day to do the repair. His diagnosis was accurate and his explanation was very thorough. The repair cost was affordable and work quality is excellent. Highly recommend hiring him for any major appliance repair.

Great work done by Alex. He had the parts in stock and came the next day to do the job. He cleaned the inside of my dryer and installed a maintenance kit. The inside was full of lint but looked brand new after he vacuumed the inside. Going to hire him for my mother-in-law’s dryer soon.
