Richie was INCREDIBLE! I contacted him to help with the suits for my wedding. I had gotten them through an online service, and they needed further tailoring to get that perfect fit. I sent him pictures of the suit in two sizes that I had tried on to ask which he thought would be the better fit. He responded to the inquiry same day with advice on how to proceed, and we had a phone conversation afterward to go over specifics. He drove 2 hours to meet myself and two of my groomsmen for the fitting, and took the pieces with him back to his shop. The groomsmen were getting simple alterations, whereas I pretty much asked Richie to reconstruct my suit. I don't think there was anything that stayed untouched. Sleeves, chest, back, collar, and shoulders on the jacket, sleeves and chest on my shirt, and hem, taper, and seat adjustments on the pants. After about a week, he contacted me again to let me know the suits were ready.
I have had suits custom cut for me in the past, and none of them fit as well as this online purchased suit after Richie was done with it. It just felt good to wear, and I got compliments on it the entire day and night. Although the rest of my groomsmen looked good in their suits, there was a clear difference between the ones that took theirs to the local dry cleaner and the three of us that decided to use Richie. I am even going to bring my other suits and my work uniform to have him tailor those as well. He definitely earned himself a lifelong customer.
You get what you pay for, and if you want dry cleaner prices, you're going to get dry cleaner results. If you want a guy who does nothing but professional tailoring and who takes pride in the work he does and will bend over backwards to get you what you need and get you looking right, call Richie.

I needed a lot of tailoring to a new suit before an upcoming wedding. Richie was mindful of the timeline and was not only able to accommodate, but he provided door to door service with time to spare and the suit fit perfectly. Never had a suit fit so well! Highly recommend!

Richie is redefining the art of tailoring. Not only is he a master at his craft (with more knowledge of styles and quality of clothing than anyone I know), he ‘gets it’ with the convenience factor of offering in-home services. I had huge closets and an armoire stuffed with years of clothes of various sizes and styles. I thought about lugging everything to my local tailor, who seemed uninterested. With nowhere else to turn, I came to the internet of all places, and came across his thumbtack profile. Richie quickly put my mind at ease during our first conversation when I explained some recent weight changes. He explained what could or should not be done, and asked me to send some pics of my stuff. He offered to alter what he could, and mentioned he could bring a clothing showroom to my home to shop from! From there, we booked an appointment. I was blown away by his knowledge and professionalism. Richie totally nailed my tastes with a selection of new business and casual items. Some of which I would have never thought of on my own. After our first visit, he marked up stuff from my existing wardrobe, and my new purchases of pants, sports coat, and a couple suits. Before he left, we went through my closets looking at every piece - and did a MASS clean out. He explained what’s not in style anymore and why, and explained why some of the stuff I had should be donated. My closets are now refreshingly manageable, with only things I will actually wear. All of this alone was a priceless service to me. Life changing. It didn’t end there, he helped complete my looks by sending me info on amazing shoes and shirts with a perfect fit for my size.
His turnaround times were very reasonable, especially in the middle of prom season and summer vacations. I’ve already started referring him to others whom I know are discerning women and men, and he’s the epitome of professional.
