I bought a lakeside cabin in 2006 that needed a lot of work. My father got involved with locating a contractor. He actually went door to door in the community where my cabin was. Because my Dad was so friendly , the neighbors were more than eager to talk to him. Out of 5 neighbors he talked to, all 5 gave references for Bob King. They told my Dad they would never use anyone else. He was hired by my Dad immediately. Prior to knowing about Bob King, I had gotten an estimate from another contractor for some foundation work I needed. He suggested some major rehab work with a hefty price tag. After Bob looked at the work needed he felt that there was a much easier and cheaper fix that ended up being what was needed. Perfection ! I have used Bob continuously for work on my rental properties. He learned a lot of his Carpentry work from the Amish. He seems to be able to do most everything, electrical, plumbing, interior work. Because he seems highly intelligent I'm assuming there isn't much he can't do. He even built a Starbucks in Albany, NY. He is honest, fair and a truly nice person.
