I initially hired Maik to work on my chandelier, and at the time I was extremely happy with his work and responsiveness. The chandelier was missing some parts, and Maik told me that once the parts arrived, they could simply be installed. When I received them, I discovered that it was not that simple. The chandelier actually needed to be partially disassembled to install the missing pieces. Because of the way the wiring runs through it, pulling everything back through also created an issue with the wiring. None of this was explained to me when the chandelier was originally installed, and had I known, I would have handled the situation very differently.

My bigger disappointment, however, is what happened afterward. I also hired Maik to complete electrical work for my vanity. Initially, he was responsive and told me he would take care of it. Then the job kept getting pushed back week after week. Eventually, communication essentially stopped. I called and followed up multiple times and received no response.

I gave Maik a glowing 5-star review originally because that genuinely reflected my experience at the time. Unfortunately, reliability and communication are just as important to me as the quality of the electrical work itself. I cannot recommend someone who repeatedly postpones a committed job and then stops responding altogether.

4G Electric is the best Electric company around! Big Mike is the best electrician in the state of New York by far! I bought a house that was from the 80s and a few of the wires need to be re routed and Mike got it done in under 3 hours!

Thanks to Mike and his team my lights were fixed perfectly! Ive had many problems in the past but since 4Gs quality work, they have been perfect ever since. Not only were they professional, they were kind and explained in detail what the problem was and how to prevent future isuues if they were to happen.
