I am in the process of getting my house ready to put on the market. I can across Thumbtack and decided to give it a try. One of the projects on my list was to update some recepicals, find out why some outdoor lights were not working and replace the lighting fixture at the entrance of my home.
I posted my electrical project and received an immediate response from Pete Amrod, Alliance Electrical & Surveillance. Pete sent me a text, said he was in Albany and could he stop by to give me an estimate. It worked for me.
I showed Pete want I needed replaced, repaired, etc. After he did a thorough walk through, he pointed out to me that there were some additional corrections that had to be made for my house to pass an electricial inspection. I was extremely impressed with him, so we arranged a date for him to do the necessary work.
Once he started, it was apparent to him that my electrical work that was done prior to my moving in was a pandora box. He explained and when possible demonstrated what changes had to be made. From the start of my project, Pete had to troubleshoot!!!! Never got frustrated and viewed the project as a challenge.
SUCCESS....Pete is acutely knowledgeable, professional, reliable, thoughtful and I would definitely recommend him.
This was my first, but definitely not my last experience with Thumbtack .

Thought I already did this...Peter was very efficient. He offered to be here the very same day, was pleasant and polite, and did a fantastic job. I now have 3 outlets back in working order & can cook again (my stove was also out). His prices weren't outrageous either. I highly recommend Peter, and, for what it's worth, I would particularly recommend that other veterans (I am a veteran) use his services. Thank you Thumbtack!
