I offer individual tutoring for all middle school, high school and college mathematics, physics and computer science classes and all standardized exams. I come with more than twenty years of teaching and tutoring experience, pedagogical know-how, educational resources, and am always professional. I welcome any interested parties to contact me regarding my services.
A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students.
Math, physics, computer science, and teaching are still my big passions. I’ve taught math classes at a private school as well as tutored students of all ages and all levels. I am committed to helping students succeed in any course. I guide the students in their understanding and comprehension of solutions rather than give them answers to everything immediately. This way they are appropriately challenged and become excited in being able to solve problems they never imagined they could. My tutoring style is friendly, yet directed. I do my best to make our time working together count. And I am extremely good at identifying problem areas and working with students to strengthen them. I have a unique gift for clearly explaining concepts and methods, and outlining step-by-step approaches to problems that greatly aid student understanding. I am flexible and will make sure you get the knowledge and understanding of material out of our tutoring sessions.

My son had a 730 on his SAT when he decided to get some extra help to boost his score. Aron worked with him for a month and my son ended up with a 780 in Math in the subsequent SAT exam. Aron went over every math concept that my son needed help with and they worked through practice exams together to identify areas my son needed to work on. He also helps my kids with AP Computer Science. My daughter was very nervous when she was assigned AP Computer Science this year but, Aron helped her decide to take it up and gave her the confidence that she could handle it. He has been helping her with her APCS assignments and test prep. Aron is wonderful! Your kids will be in great hands.

Aron has been working with me for about a year as a returning college student in my 30s. He works with your schedule, explains mathematics problems thoroughly and has helped me remember Allegra and calculus from high school and college. If you need a tutor Aron is wonderful and I highly recommend him.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a significant discount for group lessons. I also offer free ongoing support to my students with homework questions between our sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It usually start with an initial consultation over the phone. At this point, we establish the goals. Depending on the outcome of this conversation the first session may be dedicated to the diagnostic test where we work through a set of problems. This helps us to identify the current level of the student. As a result of the above steps I create a personalized plan for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come with more than twenty years of teaching and tutoring experience. I’ve taught math, physics and computer science classes at a private school as well as tutored students of all ages and all levels.
