With regard to DWI cases, Eli has standardized field sobriety test (SFST) training that most attorneys do not have. This is the same/similar certification that police officers must get to properly administer field sobriety tests. What this means is that because he is trained and certified on how to PROPERLY administer SFSTs, he can point out all the mistakes the police officer likely made in your case. If the SFSTs weren't administered properly, Eli can try to suppress the tests or effectively cross-examine the police officer on the things he did wrong.
Given Eli's unique experience handling criminal matters from both sides, he has a much better idea of how your case will be handled by the prosecutor and how to properly assess the strengths and weaknesses of the case. That inside knowledge and experience is used to get you the best possible outcome, given the nuances of the case and your unique set of personal circumstances.
