- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are competitive to the area. Depending on the distance I travel to a client, there could be a slight additional cost for travel/time expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I never rush the intake process with a new client. I want THEM to talk, to tell me about themselves, what their problems and issues might be, what would they like to accomplish while working with me. I LOVE questions! Sometimes a client is nervous the first time trying a Reiki or meditation session. I want them to be relaxed and comfortable, knowledgeable in what they will be experiencing. To let them know what they might or might not feel, what to expect during the session as well as that night or perhaps days later. There is a trust and one should always be comfortable working with any healer and any doctors they see.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Reiki Master Practitioner-Teacher. I come from a long line of healers in my family. Though my father and mother chose more traditional medical professions, I liked the feel and thought of holistic healing. My uncle was a very accomplished homeopathic practitioner and he taught me quite a bit when I was in my 20's. I went on to learning about Bach Flower Remedies and then Essential oils. I have been a Reiki practioner for 20 years, and I knew I wanted to teach and educate new Reiki practitioners to carry on the traditions of Dr. Makao Usui, so I became a Master Teacher a number of years ago. I am a member of the IARP (International Association of Reiki Practitioners) and an affiliate member of ICRT (The International Center for Reiki Training). I have attended numerous workshops/classes for EFT and meditation techniques and became certified in Intuition Development. I have been working with holistic healing stones and crystals for over 45 years, and have a line of custom healing jewelry and amulets that I design and sell.
