Belleville, Or Hans as you introduced yourself - We are very displeased to see this review after providing you with a free estimate for a new install and advice on your project in your tenants home (a service most companies charge for) - even though you originally had requested a service call/repair (which we charge $100 for) on your furnace. Despite what you may think or have done, it is against code to vent a 80% efficient furnace out of a wooden sill at ground level - due to fire hazards and Carbon Monoxide poisoning due to snow fall covering the vent at ground level. Our quote of $5,000 for a new furnace, new up to code and safe venting, new high voltage electrical, new low voltage electrical, new thermostat, new gas line, all new supply and return air duct work from furnace to floor boots (7 supply runs) - is a more than fair and affordable quote in any region or area. We hold a City of Syracuse Mechanical License, EPA Type 3 Refrigeration License, are a registered NYS S-Corporation and have business and liability insurance, along with many, many, many manufacturer contractor training certifications - all of which we will gladly provide you with. We understand budgets, and even offer financing! But one thing we cannot and will not compromise is our quality of work, code compliance and safety of our clients. Best of luck to you sir.
