My wife and I are doing our best to get off fossil fuels and are really excited to have our SunBlue solar array up and running. Chris, the owner, came out himself for the initial walkthrough and talked through the process with me. He even scoped out the attic and the condition of the rafters, which I very much appreciated. The sales guys from big companies would not do this, saying we had to sign a contract, and THEN theyd schedule a visit by an engineer who might tell us we had to do remedial structural work, making it impossible to be confident about the cost until we were contractually committed. This was a MAJOR turn-off.Chris, however, quickly gave us a quote (cheaper than SunRun, Trinity or and Empire Solar) and that was the price we actually paid. They didnt pressure us, the financing process was clear and easy, the installation was quick, the crew courteous and communicative, and Chris also came at the end for a final walkthrough, leaving us with a binder containing all the permitting documents and product specifications. We appreciated that as well.We definitely plan to work with them in future, once we build a bedroom or two out back and have some more roof space. Thanks, SunBlue!

We had an amazing experience with SunBlue Energy installing solar panels on our home! From start to finish, the whole team was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. We really appreciated how knowledgeable and patient they were throughout the process.SunBlue handled all the paperwork and permits for us, which made things completely stress-free. Communication was great the entire time we always knew what was happening and when. The installation crew showed up right on schedule, worked efficiently, and kept everything neat and tidy. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and respectful of our home.The project was finished exactly when they said it would be, and the panels look fantastic. They even took extra time after the installation to walk us through how to monitor our system. I would highly recommend choosing SunBlue Energy as your solar installer if you live in or around Westchester County. We spoke with Chris, the president of the company, during our initial meeting where he explained everything we needed to know and what to expect from the proposed system. I had met with a couple other installers as well, and the specs of the pitch are basically the same with the regard the benefits of having solar power. What I appreciated about Chris and SunBlue was that he never was overly pushy, nor using "salesman" type tactics, and truly felt like he just wanted to make sure we had all the information we needed for the decision. They were also willing to work with us on the price and configuration as well. Also, all installers present a similar cost-saving estimate, but there's sometimes sleight-of-hand with the values they populate for ConEd energy rates and expected increases. SunBlue's estimates for these numbers seems like the most reasonable and comparable to our actual bills. After we signed the agreement with them, the process could not have been more seamless. SunBlue took care of everything you'd expect: designing, permits, inspections, etc, without us ever having to think about anything. The office was always very communicative during the process, and we were always well-informed about the progress. The install itself took place in less than a day and the city inspection was complete and all permits closed out the next day. The whole process was complete about 8 weeks after we signed the agreement. This efficiency was definitely appreciated with how quickly the clean energy incentives are being removed these days. After our system was fully connected with ConEd, Chris came back again to see how everything went and to go over again all of the details of the system. It's been about a month since we started generating energy, and while it was a very hot and sunny August, it was still nice to see that the system generated 30% more than what was projected. All in all, again would highly recommend choosing SunBlue.

I can't say enough great things about Chris and the team at Sunblue. We spoke to a number of providers and ended up going with Chris, as he, the owner, personally came out and walked us through the process and pitch the design for our system. He clearly got it in a way others didn't. When the project hit a small hiccup they handled it like pros, solved the problem and put me at ease. They are the best. Our system went on line this week!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we meet with a new customer, SunBlue Energy walks you through the entire process—from initial evaluation to final installation to closing out the permit. We understand the level of care, coordination, and safety required to complete a solar project efficiently and correctly. The first step is reviewing a recent utility bill so we can analyze your home’s annual energy usage. This allows us to design a system that is properly sized to meet your needs—without over- or under-building. From there, we evaluate your roof or property, discuss equipment options, and review layout and production expectations. Once a design is finalized, SunBlue handles all permitting, utility coordination, inspections, and scheduling, keeping you informed at every step. Our goal is to make the process as straightforward and transparent as possible, so you know exactly what to expect.

Our team never stops learning, both through experience and formal training, where we pursue the highest industry certifications, through the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and other leading organizations. OSHA Certified NABCEP Certified NYSERDA Quality Installer etc.
