Introduction: I teach music in a holistic and comprehensive way. Along with proper instrumental technique, I teach my students to hear the roots and important harmonic and rhythmic elements of different kinds of music and help them to learn to hear what they play before they play it.
That moment where something "clicks" for a student. As much as I can show and guide them through the process, developing as a musician is a very personal experience and the ultimate credit is to the student when a concept really becomes clear to them.

My son has been working with Harry for about a year and we are both really happy with the lessons. Harry is definitely an accomplished performer but he is young enough to relate well to teenagers. He not only covers technique but also provides a foundation in music theory and exposure to various styles of music that will serve his students well as they progress.
Those are comments from a parent - Here are my son's comments as a student: Harry is good for beginners and advanced players. He includes an equal balance of fun things and exercises. He is patient and understanding.

Harry is a great teacher. I began taking ukulele lessons with him a couple of months ago and I am surprised by my own progress. He is patient and offers several different approaches to learning the instrument. I look forward to my weekly lesson with him. I have never played an instrument before, and Harry has been encouraging since the first moment. It is clear that he is passionate about music and teaching others the joy of playing!
