Introduction: For years I worked for a media company doing their accounts receivables only to be kicked out because the company didn’t want to operate in my state anymore. And after completely my Associate's degree in Accounting in 2017, I thought I would find a job in my field I enjoyed. But instead, I moved around between jobs and nothing I enjoyed. Not that I didn’t enjoy the job, but it wasn’t what I wanted. One job was just me looking over AP invoices, another had me enter AR payments but cold calling for collections and my last one was being an AP and AR accountant. I’m someone that hates having downtime and with nothing to, I enjoy working, especially with numbers. I knew to work at my current job with my age and a baby on the way I wanted something more than just working for someone every day, I wanted to be a boss. I want the freedom to choose what I want to do with my company and I realized I wasn’t getting any younger. As my best friend always tells me “That time is the most valued asset we have, and we can never get it back”.
