- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with new clients for a consultation to give them the opportunity to ask questions and hear samples of my playing and instruction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. Golec holds a doctoral degree from Eastman School of Music, teaches at State University of New York at Geneseo, and serves as the music director at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Rochester. Her piano album (including her own compositions) is available on CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes and through other retailers. Dr. Golec debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2005, and performed there again in 2006. She served as the assistant director of Women in Music Festival at Eastman School of Music in 2011 - 2012. She participated in several international masterclasses in piano and voice, choral institutes at Eastman School of Music, pedagogy and choral director workshops. Dr. Golec comes from a musical family. Her mother has been teaching piano full-time for the past 40 years. Dr. Golec is fingerprinted and CASE trained (Creating a Safe Environment). - What types of customers have you worked with?
Children (ages 4 and up), teens including candidates seeking admission to music colleges and universities, university students, adults learning for fun.
