I studied Business Administration as an undergrad at the University of Washington. So how did I get into tutoring and teaching? Upon graduating, I decided to teach English in South Korea. I loved teaching so much I stayed there for 3 years. Then I came back to Seattle to get my Master in Teaching at Seattle University. I am a public school highly qualified teacher dual certified in Elementary Education (K-8) and Special Education. After getting my Masters I moved to Hawaii with my husband who is active duty in the military and was a Special Education teacher there for the past 2 years. We recently moved to Fort Drum, NY (again, thank you military). I have been working with students from Elementary to High School since university. Christina is smart and friendly. Her energy and positive outlook on learning makes any child eager to learn. My 8th grader has worked with Christina for a few weeks now. She adapted the tutoring curriculum to his current coursework by first requesting a copy of his latest math book. I like this approach because the learning is tailored to the child, as opposed to a random selection of activities. After the sessions, Christina texts session updates to the parent as needed. Her fees are competitive. Payment options are easy. This is our first time experiencing online tutoring and it’s working out well. Christina is a keeper!

I can't say enough good things about Christina! She basically taught my son a year's worth of Pre Algebra in 5 hours. He was going to fail and hadn't passed but 2 tests ALL YEAR! After a couple sessions with Christina, he passed his exam with an 85 AND his entire outlook on Math had changed. She is very knowledgeable and has a cheerful personality!
