The guys showed up early but waited outside without ringing the doorbell bc it was a morning appointment, which was thoughtful bc we have small kids. They were super friendly, professional, and while their English wasn’t great, they had their wife/gf/sister/someone on speaker doing any translating that was needed. I had asked them to move a really heavy sleeper sofa up a sketchily thin staircase, and because I did a poor job of measuring we realized at the top of the stairs that it wouldn’t fit through the threshold. The guys didn’t complain or roll their eyes, they smiled, brought the couch back downstairs and tried a different set of stairs. Seems like a really nice family run business and I’ll definitely use them in the future.

Received several texts reminding me of the appointment. They were stuck in traffic and immediately let me know with an approx. ETA. Very nice and efficient workers, I can't believe all my stuff they fit into their vehicle. I would definitely hire them again. MJ Bickford

I would not hire this person or company because: 1. He was three hours late the morning of the move. He made me late, which meant I could not move into my apartment on Friday. This ended up costing me two storage units, an extra fee at my current apartment for having to stay there longer, and now I have to hire a new moving company to move my things out of storage to my new apartment. I ended up losing my apartment because we were there too late. 2. He doesn’t own a moving truck! He has a van which couldn’t fit a two bedroom apartment in it even making two trips from Albany to Poughkeepsie. 3. He only speaks Portuguese. I thought I was communicating with him when I was communicating with his wife online. He had to have his wife on the phone any time I wanted to communicate my instructions to him, ask questions, etc… he doesn’t speak or understand English at all. 4. After all of this, he asked for $700 more than the price we agreed upon price. I need to be sending him an invoice for all of expenses due to his misrepresentation of who he was and what he was capable of doing.
