- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am an anxiety and panic attack sufferer, and at my worst moments the tension in my neck, head and shoulders was debilitating. Massage therapy and relaxation techniques helped me to better cope with my symptoms. My symptoms have been under control now for many years, and whenever I feel like my anxiety is getting out of control I get a massage, deep breathe, meditate and listen to music that brings my heart rate down. Once the adrenaline lowers the racing thoughts relax and I am able to think clearly again. The fact that I have the same issues as many of my clients helps me to be empathetic to what they are going through and where the pain patterns from stress really affect you. I am honored to be allowed to be able to assist you on their healing path.
