We interviewed Bill last week for a plumbing issue. He came promptly and gave a fair estimate very reasonably priced. He was polite and seemed very knowledgable. We hired him to fix the issue and he committed to the job quickly. Today the issue was scheduled to be fixed. Bill arrived on time with all needed equipment. The initial problem was later found not the problem at no fault to Bill as we led him to think that was where our plumbing problem was. He took extra time to locate the real issue which was in another part of the house. He was able to fix it quickly and while most would have charged extra he was extremely fair and stuck to his original estimate. He's A+ in our book and would recommend him to our friends and family, along with hire him for other jobs in the future!

Called Bill during a snowstorm for the first time, he promised to be within an hour and was there as promised. Did a fabulous job cleaning the driveway, texted me the picture and went beyond his duties when I asked him to move a few packages left in the snow to the porch. This is what I call a true professional, not to mention he is a very nice person. Will definitely do business with him.

Overall great experience with Bill. He came through for me and cleaned up a project left by another contractor. This time things were done correctly. He even honored his contract price even though he added a bit more work/materials just to make the project run smoothly and keep a happy client. Bill will definitely be hearing from me again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for repairs start at $100.00 for the service call, this covers the first half hour of work typically, then a free estimate follows for any additional work needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with any potential client by listening. Very often I find that people feel their experiences with other contractors goes with details being missed that a client wants, or, a contractor does not do what they say they will do. Desco is a contracting company that DOES what they SAY, because we listen to our clients needs. I also, offer my knowledge and insight, I love what I do, and love to educate my clients of the process and steps needed for any project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training, in the field of contracting, comes from 30 years experience.
I started working right out of high school as a maintenance mechanic at a local factory. Working until 2001 for Xerox, I started Desco Property Services. Our business operation ranges from Real Estate development to Construction services and repair. A working Real Estate agent for 5 years, I am well educated in the field of Real Estate Sales and leasing.
