- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are very competitive with our pricing. We have a 2 hour minimum for events within our local area (Long Island & Queens) and a 3 hour minimum for events outside those areas. We offer discounted rates for multiple artists booked or for events more than 5 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We send a detailed breakdown of what services we offer and how it works. We typically ask for a deposit equal to one hour of caricaturing an the balance is payable after the event. We prepare a contract to lock in the booking and send a receipt for the deposit amount. We do fast, flattering and fun caricatures and there's no need for long liens since we hand out numbered tickets for each guest.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aron Laikin has been trained at the School of Visual Arts and by some of the top artists in the industry since his father was one of the original people at MAD magazine. He has trained his wife Blanca Laikin and she has a very similar style and setup to Aron. The rest of the team lives up to the bar they set high!
