I am thoroughly impressed with Gama Painting. After our original painter canceled at the last minute, we found them on Thumbtack and reached out. They responded quickly, provided a fair quote, and were able to come the very next morning to start the job.
The team arrived on time, were highly professional, and took the time to explain the details of the project. They provided a written contract outlining everything and ensured that we were aligned on expectations. The paint job turned out beautifully—our upstairs floor looks fantastic. They also made sure to leave the space clean and spotless when they were done.
There was a small imperfection on one of the bedroom walls due to the previous color underneath. When I brought it to their attention, they returned the next day and promptly touched it up.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process for working with a new customer begins with a consultation to discuss the project in detail. We also take the time to get to know our customers and understand their specific needs and preferences.
After the consultation, we provide a detailed estimate and proposal that outlines the work to be done, the materials and paints to be used, and the costs associated with the project. If the customer decides to move forward with the work, we schedule a start date and provide a timeline for completion.
During the project, we keep the customer informed of our progress and address any questions or concerns they may have. We take great care to ensure that the work is completed to the highest standards and that the customer is completely satisfied with the final result.
Once the work is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure that everything meets their expectations and to address any final details.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in this type of work about 14 years ago when I began working as a painter's assistant for a local company in the Hamptons.
I enjoyed the work and quickly became interested in learning more about the trade. I took on additional responsibilities and began learning different techniques and methods from more experienced painters.
Over time, I gained the skills and confidence to start my own business and have been successfully running it for 8 years now
