- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial consultation is available free of charge. Consultation provides enough time to explain anything unusual on the checklist or your specific situation. Our aim is to keep our fees as reasonable as possible, while being fairly compensated for time and expertise. Included in the tax preparation fees are: Preparation of your federal and state(s) tax returns Review of the completed tax returns Filing your tax returns with Federal and State(s) Authorities Filing a tax extension, if needed However, not included in the tax preparation fees are: Corrections made after tax return completion, that are as a result of an inaccurate or incomplete information, provided to us Assistance with inquiries, examinations or audits of any kind by any tax authority Additional consultation that requires research and follow up
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll send you a tax checklist for your review. Make use of it to assemble the required documents to provide to a professional. If you prefer to interview Mr. Cohan, call him on his cell or text him. When you are ready to move forward, we will provide you with a link to securely upload the assembled documents. We prepare your tax return. If we need clarification, we'll reach out to you. Once your return is ready, usually within 24 hours, we'll have a quick chat to explain and answer any questions you might have. We'll e-File your return and you'll get an electronic copy of it. DONE! - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mr. Cohan has a B.A.s in Accounting and Information System as well as a B.A. in Computer Science from Queens College, New York. He received his CPA license in 2012 and have over 10 years of experience in the field of accounting. Mr. Cohan holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Persian and has elementary proficiency in Hebrew.
