Lila is a wonderful talented musician and an amazing educator. We found Lila at Thumbtack for my 14 yr old sister and although she wanted the in person lessons initially, after the trial lesson with Lila, my sister was excited to start the virtual lessons.
Lila is responsive and personable, friendly teacher who cares deeply about her students. My family sees a big improvement in my sister's violin playing and she even received Outstanding on her NYSSMA exam. Lila is responsive and flexible, and finds the perfect balance between being motivating, kind educator and pushing my sister to do better in her practice. Studied violin and composition with award winning musicians at Berklee College of Music, graduated with a Bachelor's of Music in Film and Media Scoring.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began as a music camp counselor nearly a decade ago, teaching young children how to play violin!
