My name is Elena Diaz-Acosta and I've been teaching voice and acting for over 25 years. Teaching is my passion and I want my students to achieve their goals and enjoy the beauty of music and the arts. I will teach you great breathing and singing technique, how to become a performer and develop your voice to reach it's maximum potential. I teach all vocal levels and age ranges. Biography: Elena Díaz-Acosta started her musical studies at age 4, singing with the "New York City Opera Children Chorus". She studied at Manhattan School of Music. She studied in Hunter College and Queens College of the City University of New York and the Bejar Conservatory in Salamanca, Spain. She has participated in the Master Classes of Alfredo Kraus and Monserrat Caballé and David Jones. Elena is excellent! My daughter has been taking lessons with her. She is very good with kids, and makes lessons fun. My daughter has learnt how to sing with her stomach instead of her throat. We would recommend Elena.

Elena is very professional and made me feel very comfortable about my skill level. She catered the session to my personal goals and I can already notice a difference in the pitch and quality of my singing. I am having a great time while learning different techniques to refine my sound. She keeps the sessions fun and goofy while keeping the goals of the lessons in mind. She was punctual and I will definitely continue you come back for more lessons! I highly recommend her!

Elena is a phenomenal teacher. She's taught my son for over the last 4 years virtually and he loves his lessons. She finds such awesome songs for him and he's improved so much with her lessons. She's truly the best! He looks forward to his singing class every week.

Elena is a fantastic woman. She makes her lessons not only very engaging, but very informative as well. She also knows how to make them fun as well. Would recommend anyone who wants vocal lessons!

My daughter always wanted to do voice lessons but she was too shy to actually take them. She’s outgoing in everything except her ability to sing. Almost two years ago her Godparents decided to take a chance and get her singing lessons via the internet. They picked out a vocal coach which happened to be Ms Diaz-Acosta. Her bio appealed to both my daughter and my sister-in-law. At first my daughter was shy having to use a microphone in order for Elena to be able to hear her. After having a lot of patience with my daughter Elena was able to raise her confidence in her abilities. She is trying new songs and thriving at her singing abilities. Not only has her confidence boosted in her singing with Elena’s help but that confidence shines through in every aspect of her life. She is more confidence in herself and her abilities in other areas of her life. Highly recommend Elena as a singing coach. Her support in my daughters talents has helped her be able to join the choir at her school and perform in front of others. My daughter just loves her weekly sessions.
